Horizontal Multistage Non-API Pump | ADS-HM / ADS-HMD Series (AD6S / AD6D)

More than a thousand installations in refineries, petrochemical complexes, and water treatment plants around the world have made this horizontal multistage range a familiar name to plant engineers and operators.

The ADS-HM and ADS-HMD are horizontal multistage, high-pressure pumps made for extreme temperatures and pressures. A ring section diffuser casing on centreline supports keeps them running steadily around the clock, on duties where a failure cannot be tolerated.

The ADS-HMD adds a double-suction first-stage impeller, which gives it a much better NPSH3 figure and makes it a sound choice where suction conditions are difficult.

Key Features

  • Ring Section Diffuser Casing: Centreline support keeps the casing structurally sound through long periods of high temperature and high pressure
  • Easy to Maintain: Bearings and mechanical seals can be inspected and serviced with very little dismantling, since removing the coupling spacer is all that is needed
  • Better Suction Performance (HMD): The double-suction first-stage impeller markedly improves NPSH3
  • Shared Parts Across the Range: Components are common between sizes, which reduces spares holdings and downtime
  • Intermediate Bleed-Off Port: Flow can be taken off the intermediate casing, giving more flexibility in the process

Applications

  • High-pressure boiler feed water systems
  • Mine dewatering and high-pressure drainage
  • High-pressure process fluid transfer in water treatment plants
  • Hydraulic power recovery turbine service in water treatment facilities

Vertical Multistage Non-API Pump | ADS-VM / ADS-VMD Series (AD7S / AD7D)

Boiler feed duty leaves no margin for error, and this series has been proven on it more than a thousand times in refineries, petrochemical complexes, and water treatment plants across the world.

The ADS-BV and ADS-BVD are multistage, high-pressure boiler feed water pumps made to run without a break at extreme temperatures and pressures. Their ring section diffuser casing sits on centreline supports, which gives the dependable service that critical process plants need when an unplanned stop would be costly.

The ADS-BVD has a double-suction first-stage impeller, developed to return an excellent NPSH3 figure on installations where suction conditions are tight or awkward.

Key Features

  • Ring Section Diffuser Casing: Supporting the casing on its centreline keeps it structurally sound through long spells of high temperature and pressure
  • Simple to Service: Taking off the coupling spacer opens up the bearings and mechanical seals for inspection and routine work, with very little dismantling
  • Improved Suction Behaviour (BVD): The double-suction first-stage impeller gives a clear gain in NPSH3 where suction head is restricted
  • Common Parts Across the Series: Shared components keep the spares inventory small and shorten maintenance stops
  • Intermediate Bleed-Off Port: Flow can be drawn from the intermediate casing, which adds flexibility as operating conditions change

Applications

  • Boiler feed water supply at high pressure
  • Mine dewatering and high-pressure drainage
  • High-pressure process fluid transfer in water treatment plants
  • Hydraulic power recovery turbine service in water treatment facilities

API 610 Axial Split Casing Process Pump | ADS-BB1 Series (AD3)

The ADS-BB1 (AD3) is a single-stage, double-suction pump with the impeller between its bearings, built to API 610. The near-centreline-supported casing splits along the horizontal axis, which gives the pump two strengths at once: it moves very large volumes, and it can be serviced on site. Lifting off the upper casing half exposes the full rotor, so the rotor can come out without touching the process piping or the driver.

Flow reaches 6,240 m³/hr and head reaches 460 m, with more available at higher running speeds when a system needs greater output. That puts the pump in its element on large duties such as cooling systems, irrigation networks, and petroleum product transfer lines.

The double-suction impeller cancels out axial thrust by design and keeps NPSH requirements low, so the pump copes well on installations where suction head is limited.

Key Features

  • API 610 Design: Built to the API 610 standard for centrifugal pumps in the petroleum, petrochemical, and natural gas industries
  • Near-Centreline Split Casing: A heavy, horizontally split casing stays stable under heat and allows quick removal of the upper half for rotor access
  • Rotor Removal from Above: Lift the upper casing half and the whole rotor assembly comes out, with no need to disconnect suction or discharge pipework or move the driver
  • Double-Suction Impeller: Balances axial thrust naturally and holds NPSH requirements low across a wide range of site conditions
  • Quick Seal and Bearing Access: Bearings and mechanical seals are reachable once the coupling spacer is removed, which keeps routine servicing short
  • Broad Speed Range: Synchronous motor speeds from 1,000 to 3,600 rpm to suit different drivers and system layouts

Applications

  • High-volume fluid transfer in industrial and process plants
  • Cooling water circulation in power generation and heavy industry
  • Agricultural and municipal irrigation schemes
  • Booster duty on petroleum product pipelines

API 610 Between-Bearings Process Pump | ADS-BB2 Series (AD4)

The ADS-BB2 (AD4) is a single-stage, double-suction pump with the impeller between its bearings and a centreline-supported casing, built to API 610. It is made for large flows at high pressure, on duties where dependability, safety, and easy servicing all carry equal weight.

Head reaches 550 m and flow reaches 5,500 m³/hr, which makes it one of the most capable process pumps in the range, able to run continuously across a very wide band of temperatures and pressures.

Servicing is simple. Bearings and mechanical seals at both the drive and non-drive ends can be reached by removing only the coupling spacer, so the suction and discharge pipework and the driver stay undisturbed.

Key Features

  • API 610 Design: Built to the API 610 standard for centrifugal pumps in the petroleum, petrochemical, and natural gas industries
  • Heavy Centreline Casing: Supporting the casing on the centreline limits thermal distortion and keeps the shaft aligned during long periods at high temperature
  • Access from Both Ends: Bearings and seals can be serviced on either side of the pump once the coupling spacer is out, with no pipework disconnected
  • Back Pull-Out Rotating Element: The whole rotating assembly withdraws without touching the process piping or the driver, so overhauls cause little disruption to the plant
  • Shared Components: Parts are common across the pump family, which trims spares inventory and lowers the cost of ownership
  • Choice of Rotation: Clockwise as standard when viewed from the coupling end, with counter-clockwise available on request

Applications

  • High-volume fluid transfer in oil refineries and petrochemical plants
  • High-temperature, high-pressure critical duties in chemical and related process industries
  • Many material and seal flushing plan options to suit a broad range of fluids

API 610 Multistage Double Casing Pump | ADS-BB5 Series (AD5S / AD5D)

The ADS-BB5 (AD5S / AD5D) is a multistage double casing diffuser pump with a centreline-supported casing, built to API 610. A heavy barrel-type outer casing surrounds an inner cartridge, so the whole rotating element, internals included, can be pulled out for inspection or overhaul while the process piping and the driver stay connected.

Head reaches 2,500 m and speed reaches 7,000 rpm, which suits duties where pressure, temperature, and fluid composition would overwhelm conventional pump designs. Running at higher speeds lifts head and capacity beyond the base ratings, giving system designers extra room to work with.

Key Features

  • API 610 Design: Built to the API 610 standard for centrifugal pumps in the petroleum, petrochemical, and natural gas industries
  • Double Casing Diffuser Construction: The barrel outer casing adds a second pressure boundary, giving strong containment in high-pressure, high-temperature service
  • Cartridge Inner Assembly: The internal cartridge slides out as a single unit with suction and discharge pipework and the driver left in place, so servicing happens on site with little plant downtime
  • Choice of Thrust Balancing: Piston and balance disc, double piston, or straight piston arrangements, selected to suit the duty
  • Lower NPSH on the AD5D: A double-suction first-stage impeller reduces NPSH requirements, which widens the range of suitable installations
  • Shared Components: Parts are common across the series, which cuts spares inventory and lifecycle cost
  • High Speed Capability: Speeds up to 7,000 rpm allow head and capacity to be pushed past standard ratings when a duty demands it

Applications

  • High-pressure fluid handling in oil refineries and petrochemical plants
  • Medium-pressure (MP) and high-pressure (HP) boiler feed water service
  • Light hydrocarbon and liquefied gas transfer
  • Seawater injection for oil well and enhanced oil recovery projects
  • Mine dewatering from extreme depths
  • Booster duty on petroleum product pipelines
  • Hydraulic power recovery turbine service in chemical and process plants
